Hello! We are Tom & Cindy Drost. We have lived on the same farm, located four miles south of New Sharon, Iowa, for all 35 years of our married life. Farming in the New Sharon/Oskaloosa/Leighton area is what we do for a living. Our passion of sharing God's plan of salvation is also important to us... through our community, our church (Oskaloosa First Christian Disciples of Christ) and the Southern Gospel concerts that we host at the Pella Christian High School Vermeer Auditorium.

Our son, Jackson Drost, and his wife, Amanda, along with their adorable three-year-old son, Richard (our grandson), live near us and farm with us. Jackson also works "freelance" for the Musco Lighting Corporation, traveling throughout the country to light up sporting events, concerts and special events. Amanda is employed as the Payroll & Leave Specialist in the Human Resources Department at Pella Regional Health Cetner. Three-year-old Richard attends the Yellow Iron Academy in Pella.

Our daughter, Jordan Drost, also involved in our farming operation, lives on one of our farms near us. Jordan is employed as a nail tech at Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio & Day Spa in Pella. She is also a Supervisor in Sales for the Omnitrition Health Company, after losing 88 lbs. herself and keeping it off for over two years.

Our family has shared the passion for the ministry and outreach, which these Southern Gospel concerts have provided, for the past 10-plus years. We look forward to the six concerts which we have scheduled for the 2018 year. However, the Nov. 4, 2018, Triuimphant Quartet Concert will be our final concert to host. This will be our time to retire from "the concert ministry" and time to concentrate on other ministries.

We thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts for attending our concerts, for bringing friends and family members with you to the concerts so they could have the oportunity to accept Christ into their hearts, and for your friendship. You have become part of our "family"... 1 Corinthians 12:26... "If one member suffers, all suffer together, if one member is honored, all rejoice together." We have shared much together.

We look forward to praising the Lord with you at a concert in 2018, before our retirement.

In Christian Love,

Tom & Cindy Drost
